Pole dancing championships

Pole dancing in Australia has seen exponential growth over the past decade. Originating in two very different genres (circus vs. strip clubs), has meant the evolution of many types of pole dancing during this time. It’s no longer just ‘stripper’ pole. Both males and females have recognised the exercise benefits of training their upper body, and the gymnastic challenge pole offers keeps them hooked.

This competition is be open any dancer (amateur or professional, male or female) aged 18yrs+, from the Asia Pacific. Combined with a focus on the athletic aspect of pole dance, similar to that of gymnastics, and the technical artistry, born from other forms of classical and modern dance, the Asia Pacific Pole Dance Championships™ brings pole dance champions into the mainstream sporting field. As well as showcasing outstanding pole dance talent across the nation, the Asia Pacific Pole Dance Championships™ boasts an internationally acclaimed judging panel of individuals who are well respected and known in the industry. The professional judging criteria used will be setting the standard in the industry of a fair, transparent and regulated scoring system.
